Messi's return to Barcelona is 'possible' next year |
Barcelona vice president Eduard Romeu has claimed that a return for Lionel Messi next season is "possible".
Messi left the Camp Nou as a free agent last year to join Paris Saint-Germain. However, his two-year contract with the Ligue 1 champions expires next year.
Romeu did not hint that Barca might be interested in bringing the 35-year-old back.
"It would be possible financially because if he came back he would be on a transfer fee," Romeu told radio station El Mati de Catalunya.
"But this is a decision that the coaching staff and the player himself must make.
"It's not up to me [to make those decisions], but it would be feasible."
