Big Brother Naija reality star Patrick Fakoya, better known as Rico Swavey, is dead.
Ex-roommates Alex Unusual and Tobi Bakare confirmed the report on social media on Thursday. On Twitter, Alexa wrote, "This is not what we agreed Rico. Rest in peace," Alex tweeted. Tobi also shared a picture of himself and Rico with the caption, "This is how I'll remember you bro."
The Nigerian entertainers had launched a fundraising campaign after the late roommate's accident.
Tobi announced the fundraiser Wednesday via his Twitter page. Bakre shared a picture of Rico lying in the hospital and tweeted, "Please help save Rico. He was in a really bad car accident.
"We need to keep him alive and keep paying the mounting medical bills while praying for a miracle from God.
"(We) can't do it alone. Please click on the link to donate at ricoswavey.com."
